Common questions
Where does the water need to go?＋
Anywhere lower than the water level in the tub — a floor drain, a downhill slope, or a yard area that can take the water. A siphon can't push water uphill.
Will hot water hurt the hose?＋
Let the tub cool to under 100°F before draining (most manufacturers recommend this anyway) and the hose is completely happy.
Can I use the same siphon for fuel and water?＋
We recommend dedicating a siphon to each. They're safe for both, but you don't want fuel residue in your hot tub — at $49.95, keep one for each job.
